war of the gerberas

in my quest to find the cheapest interesting valentine bouquet, i've come across some stunners. the one i'd buy if i had $150 to drop are the above saint's hot tulips and orchids from twig in the boston area.




















what i ended up deciding on were these affordable gerberas (the "zen gerbera bowl") from flower giant teleflora (they work through local florists to get orders to customers). they're having a $10 off sale using the promotion code: psgg10d which pretty much settles all of my restless flower comparison shopping. my guy likes orange things and i have black sheep issues, so i'm opting out of the traditional rose thing .... sorted.
