the sun'll come out ...

this is another post from uncommon goods. i think we bought this umbrella for a friend of mine's birthday years ago (or we planned to and he bought it himself, i forget), but it stands out in my memory even when i see imitators that do the same thing or a variation. its just a black umbella with a solid wooden handle with a really pleasing white-fluff-clouds on-a-blue-sky-day photo hidden inside of it. i've held the thing in my hands on several occasions and its a very good feeling to look up to. well worth the $48.
